All The Way To Whitehall

A-level Government & Politics Student James Doherty has secured a place on the Whitehall Internship Programme.

The programme takes place during August when he will live in London and carry out a two-week work experience placement within a government department in Whitehall, learning more about the Civil Service. Whilst there James will stay in Halls of Residence Accommodation at the University of London.

Alongside the internship, James gets to take part in a range of exciting evening activities, including a West End show, a trip on the London Eye and meals out.

There will also be sessions about applying to higher education and skills and career workshops from major businesses, including advice about how to strengthen UCAS applications.
