Students take part in Merseyside Police Cyber Challenge

Head of I.T., Paul Jenkins, said:

"We sent a team of students to take part in the Merseyside Police Cyber Challenge hosted by Hugh Baird College on Friday 28th April. There were teams from Carmel College, Calday Grange Grammar, St Helens College, Liverpool Studio, North Liverpool Academy and Hugh Baird College.

"The day consisted of seven challenges which tested the students on their practical, team building, cyber skills, knowledge and communicate skills. Challenges included a cyber labyrinth, capture the flag, decryption, build a PC, coding and the students' personal favourite was the Drone Capture challenge. This challenge involved the students coming up with some method of capturing drones that were flying around them!"
