A Level Media Students' Photoshoot

Media Studies teacher, Julie Edwards explained:

First year A Level Media students have been fine-tuning their practical skills, using cameras, tripods and a selection of props on location at Birkenhead Park today.

They were honing their photography skills in order to create a range of shots for mock ups of their coursework projects. Students are creating new magazines, film marketing campaigns or music videos, aimed at a 16 to 24-year-old target audience, for the work that is worth 30% of their A Level. 

In addition, the students directed each other to act out and model in a range of roles. They even persuaded local dog, Tilly, to make a star turn!
