A highly successful and hugely enjoyable evening was had by all at the College’s School of Art & Design’s Summer Exhibition…

A memorial designed by Art student, Jemma Twigg, was unveiled by Mayor of Wirral, Cllr Dave Mitchell and the Lord-Lieutenant of Merseyside Dame Lorna Muirhead DBE at a ceremony to commemorate the 400 soldiers that lost their lives aboard the HMS Birkenhead in 1852.

Dame Lorna Muirhead, DBE, opened our New School of Art & Design on 27th November. The School houses fine art, graphics and textiles and will boost the aspirations of more than 250 students using the new facilities.
