Last week The Sixth Form College hosted their annual Course Awards ceremony to recognise the hard work and dedication achieved by each department and the dedicated staff involved. This year, the College also recognised individual achievements from staff members introducing the “Exceptional Contribution Awards”.

Departmental Awards are set against The Sixth Form College’s own criteria to recognise departments that have matched or exceeded their success rate target, and high grade target.

The Admissions and Marketing Team were awarded with The Principal’s award for their hard work and commitment after The Sixth Form College received a record number of applications for the 2013/14 academic year.

Exceptional Contribution Award:

Duke of Edinburgh Team: For their dedication and time spent contributing to the enrichment and personal development of The Sixth Form college’s students.

Exceptional Contribution Award, Individual Award:

Jane Cavanagh: For her contribution to the educational development of The Sixth Form College students, organising educational trips to help enhance the students’ knowledge and college experience
