Jemma holds a torch for the Olympics

Jemma Edwards, an A2 student at BSFC, has been chosen from thousands of applicants to take part in the Olympic Torch relay this summer. Jemma, a volunteer coach at University Academy in Birkenhead, was nominated by Sport England for the role because of her outstanding work in encouraging and inspiring young people to get involved in sport. Jemma will carry the torch on the Isle of Man relay, running in Douglas on the 2nd of June. Huge congratulations to her for being chosen for this honour, and for the dedication she has shown in her work for the young people of Wirral!
