We look forward to seeing you on Monday (4th September) for your first day at Birkenhead Sixth Form College.

We understand that this can be an exciting and possibly daunting time, but we would like to reassure you that everyone at the College is here to support you in every element of your move from high school. From helping you find your way around the campus to making sure you enjoy your lessons, our staff and Student Ambassadors are all ready and prepared to make you feel as welcome as possible in your first weeks with us.

WHAT TO EXPECT ON YOUR FIRST DAY

  • Please arrive at 9am to collect your timetable.
  • Make sure to bring your blue lanyard with you that you received in July if you attended Welcome Day.
  • College buses will be free on 4th September and will drop off and pick up via Shrewsbury Road entrance. College buses will depart for College at normal times. Click here to see full bus journey details - www.bsfc.ac.uk/collegebuses
  • Lessons will start at 9:30am.
  • You’ll have a lesson in each of your subjects, a small group tutorial and an assembly session.
  • There will be a 45 minute break for lunch.
  • The day will finish at 4pm. 
  • College buses will leave at 4:15pm.  College bus passes are still available and can be purchased from here – www.bsfc.ac.uk/parentpay
