Ambitious student, Joseph Murphy who is currently studying EconomicsMathematics, and Biology at the Sixth Form College, completed an insightful placement with one of Britain’s leading finance firms, JP Morgan in London last summer.

Joseph, a former student at Wallasey’s Kingsway Academy, has strong ambitions to work within the finance industry and hopes to go on from his studies at the college to study Economics and Finance at University with the aim of working in Investment Banking or the Financial Markets.

Whilst on his placement with JP Morgan, Joseph had the opportunity to observe activity on the trading floor, attend presentations and learn about the various roles in the financial industry as well as having to prepare and deliver his own presentation.
