The Sixth Form College’s third and final Open Evening for the 2014/15 Academic year had yet another fantastic turnout.
Students from across Wirral joined us at our Open Evening last Wednesday night to find out more about the wide range of courses and opportunities we can offer as Wirral’s specialist sixth form college.
Juice FM’s Big Breakfast host, Adam Weighell, hosted the evening which included a talk from our Principal, Kathryn Podmore and Deputy Principal, Mike Kilbride, a live Q&A session with our Admissions Team and a student interview with our Head Girl, Kayleigh Southall and two of our Student Ambassadors, Alex Heslop and Charlotte Knaggs.
All subject areas reported being very busy speaking to many interested students and parents and visitors enjoyed taking a look around our fantastic new facilities including the recently completed frontage and reception space and the new School of Art and Design which was officially opened last November by Dame Lorna Muirhead.
Want to come back or couldn’t make it this time? We are now holding our ‘Talk & Tour’ events between March and May 2014.
This will involve a short talk from our Admissions team about what makes The Sixth Form College a Centre of Academic Excellence, followed by a guided tour of our facilities. If you are interested in attending a tour, you can view dates and book your place here - We look forward to seeing you!
