Image of 'Our House' - another fantastic performance by Performing Arts students

The final performance of the year from our Performing Arts students was truly outstanding. Just when you think they can’t get any better, they pull out all the stops with two superlative night’s performances of Tim Firth’s homage to the Madness back catalogue, ‘Our House’.

This was a brilliantly staged production with all round pitch perfect performances, especially from Steve Swaby, Kaylee Meredith and Georgia Park playing the romantic leads. As usual there was excellent support from regulars Mark Smith, Dean McGinn, Lily O’Sullivan and Joe Jackson, not to mention cameo roles from the fabulous Jack Malone and former college students, Kate Murphy and Rob O’Hara. The singing and the dance routines were faultless and on more than one occasion the songs reached a really emotional depth sending a tingle down the spine.

The supporting cast and the brilliant musicianship of the band made this performance really stand out, and we can be sure to hear a lot more from these talented and dedicated students
