Senior staff and Student Ambassadors had the pleasure of welcoming local Wirral Councillors and Mayor of Wirral Cllr. Dave Mitchell to College on Tuesday 11th June.
Given a presentation from Principal Kathryn Podmore and Deputy Principal Mike Kilbride, councillors from across the Wirral boroughs were brought up-to-speed on the latest achievements and developments at Birkenhead Sixth Form College.
Later on the councillors were led on a tour of College featuring our new Art & Design building and new Science laboratories.
Cllr. Steve Williams later commented on Twitter:
“Great to see how well [Birkenhead Sixth Form College] are doing. Many good results, happy students, and nice new buildings.”
