Rugby: BSFC vs Balmoral College

Ahead of formal rugby fixture matches starting up next week, this past Saturday 15th September our College rugby team took on a match with Balmoral College visiting from Buenos Aires, Argentina.

 

Named after Balmoral Castle in Scotland the Buenos Aires based college provided a formidable team for this international friendly, well turned out and proving to be strong and fast, even whilst playing away at Mosslands School. The match formed part of Balmoral College's UK tour.

Fun facts about Buenos Aires: it is the capital of Argentina and second largest metropolitan area in South America; birthplace of the Tango (dance) and is famous for its art, fashion and architecture.
