Our Performing Arts students gave an excellent performance in our Easter College Show which saw a new take on 'Fame' the 1980s hit film and TV series. Rob O'Hara, Andrew Bourbonneux, Lupe Tuipulotu, Kate Murphy and Jessica Scott play the teachers who aim to instill discipline and drive the students towards success in an incredibly competitive atmosphere. Emily Balstock, Tanya Thomas, Jack Malone and Lisle des Landes play some of the head-banded, legging-wearing aspiring actos, dancers and musicians who strive to achieve fame with the support of fellow artists. Elise Pritchard played the part of Carmen who took the audience down a dark path away from big hair and flourescent colours as Carmen, seduced by the lure of LA, who meets an untimely end. The evening was an extravaganza of disco dancing, traumatic teen angst and spectacular singing. Why not check out photos from the show under our Photo Gallery section!
