Good Luck Tom

British Champion swimmer and first year Birkenhead Sixth Form College student Tom Barton will join the England Swimming camp in January and compete against the Canadian Youth Team at the Sunderland Aquatic Centre. 
Tom hopes to build on his previous success at International level, competing in the 400 and 200 metre individual medley and the 400 metre Free Style.  The Tri meet with Canada and the North of England is part of the England Talent Level 3 Programme.
Olympic gold medalist Rebecca Adlington congratulated Tom on his selection and predicted the experience would prove invaluable in preparing him for competition against other world class swimmers.  Tom swims with Liverpool Swimming Club and is coached by Mike Roberts.  He is combining study at the College with preparing for glory in the 2016 Olympics.
