The British Physics Olympiad is a national competition that our Year 2 students participate in each year. The competition is extremely demanding, and it is entered by the top students in the country. It is designed to challenge and find excellence in the country’s top young Physicists.

Head of Physics, Richard Newby, commented, “students who put themselves forward to compete, regardless of the result, have demonstrated a positivity and resilience that should be commended. I am very proud of the hard work put in by this year’s students which has resulted in an excellent set of awards.” Students themselves were really pleased with their results, and express pride at succeeding in such a highly demanding competition. The College are extremely proud of their efforts and congratulate their exceptional results.
