Wirral’s Sixth Form College has joined forces with IGo Driving School to help students get ahead of their peers as part of its overall support package for students studying at the college.
As a result of the partnership, students at the college will benefit from reduced rate driving lessons and can take lessons arranged around their college timetables. Students will also be able to study towards their theory test in sessions that take place at the sixth form college itself, led by a qualified driving instructor.
Kathryn Podmore, Principal of the Sixth Form College said, “We pride ourselves on preparing our students for university and their future careers by providing an all-round education. Learning to drive is an essential prerequisite for many young people and we wanted to ensure that we fully supported our students in learning to drive so that they are placed in the strongest position when seeking opportunities after sixth form. We are working exclusively with IGo driving school because of their professional quality standards. They have an excellent record of success and have committed two highly qualified instructors to work with our students”.
Gordon Bromley from IGo Driving said, “It is great to see that The Sixth Form College is encouraging their students to learn drive so that they get ahead in the competitive marketplace. We have worked with the college to ensure we can offer students exclusive deals and place them in the pole position when it comes to passing their theory and driving tests first time around’.
