The Sixth Form College hosted the Enrichment Fair 2013-14 in The Conference Space on Thursday 12th September, where many varieties of enrichment opportunities were available for our students to explore. The fair had a variety of displays to choose from including a self-defence demonstration from former student Owen Randles and his Taekwon Do group.
Enrichment is all about extra-curricular activities that allow for personal growth. Enrichment Co-ordinator Rowena Lovatt says, “The opportunities available give students the chance to develop useful skills, pursue an active interest or discover a brand new one. Taking on activities outside of the college curriculum is also a great way to strengthen your CV as it allows you to stand out from the competition whether you are applying for a place at University or for a position of employment.”
