We seek to appoint a dedicated and outstanding teacher to take on the role of Head of Subject for A Level Psychology. This is a full-time, permanent position. The Psychology course follows the AQA
specification and is the most popular course in the College with over 300 students enrolled. There are 10 teachers that contribute to the delivery of the course and there is a positive, collaborative and supportive approach in the department. Many teachers in the department are current examiners and the group benefit from their expertise. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for Psychology and the ability to inspire students both inside and outside the classroom. As Head of Subject, the successful candidate will take responsibility for
curriculum decisions and will be expected to apply current educational research and best practices to maintain high standards across the department.

Salary: T1 - T9, £32,178 - £49,725 (+ £2,360 HOS Payment)
