A team from the College was at Liverpool Town Hall this week to compete in the European Youth Parliament. They debated a wide range of issues, from tax avoidance, Brexit, the protection of the LGBTQ+ community in Chechnya and the Catalonia question. Harry Gorman, Daniel Gorman, Ali Dodds, Caleb Geggie, Jack Fitzpatrick, Mark Dewson, Adam Probbing and Lee Turpin took on ten teams from schools across the North West, and accompanying Politics teacher Jane Cavanagh said: “Unfortunately we didn’t win but the team made really lively and informed contributions and worked brilliantly as a team, ensuring that every member contributed.”
