The Sixth Form College’s annual summer performance took place this week, written by student Laura Smith. The show, titled “Happily Ever After” was based on the origins of our favourite Fairytale characters such as The Wicked Witch, Prince Charming and The Big Bad Wolf.

Laura, a former Kingsway Academy student, also performed in the show along with fellow cast members Ben Murphy, Ellen Watson, John White and Mohammed Zaman.

The show, which had a matinee and an evening performance and included musical acts throughout, was thoroughly enjoyed by audience members with one commenting, “Very enjoyable, performed by a talented bunch with some wonderful voices. It was surprisingly moving but funny too – well done to the cast!”

All proceeds from ticket sales of the performance have been donated to the A Day for Pip cause. Click here for more information on A Day for Pip.
