Below is a summary of the proposed timeline leading up to you joining us in September 2021.

Starter guides in each of your chosen subjects are available to you on this section of the website, giving you handy tips to get a headstart ahead of beginning lessons, as well as recommendations of related books, films and TV shows that mean that you can blend learning subject matter and having some entertainment from home. It also gives you a chance to explore other subjects if you are thinking of changing your original choices.
Open House Event for applicants - Thursday 24th June
Registration Days - 28th, 29th. 30th June
These are specially assigned, exciting days where you'll get your first introduction to officially being a College student. Meet your teachers and fellow new students, receive your College email and login details, and sign up to clubs and activities.
Fast Track Enrolment
Your Enrolment and consent forms will be sent to you in the post in mid July. Included will be a pre-paid envelope for you to return these documents, and if you do so before the advised date, your Enrolment will then be fast tracked at your appointment as we will have been able to process your details. If not returned by the specified date, you will have to bring these forms with you to your Enrolment appointment.
GCSE Results Day - Thursday 12th August 2021
GCSE Results Day Clinic - Thursday 12th August
If you have any concerns after receiving your GCSE results and want to speak to an expert member of staff at the College before your enrolment appointment, you can come to our GCSE Results Day Clinic to put your mind at rest. Further details of timings and procedure to be announced soon.
Enrolment - From Tuesday 24th August - Friday 27th August
You will receive your own personal Enrolment appointment, which is where you'll come to the College to finalise your subject choices after discussion and advice from Heads of Department, and you will officially become a Birkenhead Sixth Form College student.

Emailing us your results on GCSE Results Day
On Thursday 12th August after receiving your GCSE results, you need to email us with either a picture or a scan of the results. These should be sent to: email@example.com
Remember to include the whole of the document in the pictures so we can be sure of your identity.

We are extremely aware that you have had a disrupted end to your time at high school and that stepping up to A Levels and BTECs at a new College may feel even more challenging. This is why we have devised a programme to help you settle into College life and use our expertise in sixth form education to give you the best help with the transition.
