In May 2014 the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) conducted a Higher Education Review of the Foundation to Health & Veterinary Studies (Year 0) course provision. The course is offered at Birkenhead Sixth Form College in conjunction with the University of Liverpool.
